Annex C: Gym Policies 

• CELL PHONES:

No phone calls on the gym floor or in locker rooms- this includes facetime, zoom calls, etc. No videography allowed on the gym floor or locker rooms. Photographs are allowed at the gym floor, but not in the locker room. Please make sure no other members are in your photographs, even in the background. Please take important phone calls in our designated areas, you can find these through signage placed within the club.

• MUTUAL RESPECT:

Please act in a respectful and courteous manner while using the club and while engaging with other members and staff. We do not tolerate verbal or physical harassment for any reason. 

• GROUP FITNESS:

Please book your class in advance through the Gym Tonic app and arrive at least 10 minutes early. Late arrival to class will result in forfeiting your class spot to stand by members. Please do not enter a class in progress. Failure to show up to 3 booked classes without prior cancellation will result in a 7 day suspension of booking classes. 

• LOCKER ROOMS:

No phone calls, photography, or videography allowed in these areas. One member alloted in each shower at a time. Please do not leave personal items in lockers after use, unless in a permanent locker. Please return all used towels to the laundry bin after use. In the sauna be respectful of other members and keep these spaces free of electronics, food, grooming, and dirty clothing. Inappropriate behavior of any kind will result in immediate termination of your membership. Adhere to all posted signs in the locker room areas.

• PERSONAL BELONGINGS:

Please keep all personal belongings in the locker rooms. This includes and is not limited to- bags, purses, jackets, keys, shoes, wallets, etc. You may not have large personal bags on the gym floor as this is a safety hazard to other members.  We do not guarantee the safety of your valuables– including items left in your locker. Members may not leave the club with personal items left in a public locker.

• ATTIRE:

Appropriate foot coverings and attire required on our fitness floor while walking through the club. Feel free to go barefoot in designated barefoot areas. Please see signage in the club for directions. Tops, bottoms, and shoes are required inside at all times unless signage says otherwise. You can workout in the outdoor turf area with shirts off. 

• MUSIC / PERSONAL AUDIO :

Use personal headphones when listening to devices. No external speaker systems allowed. Please do not play music off our audio system in the group fitness areas as they are custom built for specific usage. 

• GUESTS:

Guests must check in at the front desk and make sure all waivers and forms have been completed before entering. Members are responsible for their guests actions and behaviors while present on the premises. Guests and members are not allowed to provide personal training services.

•  CHILDREN:

For their protection, children are not allowed on the gym floor or locker room areas, and may not be left unattended in common areas. Please use the private family bathroom with children if necessary.

• MEMBER RESPONSIBILITY:

If you exhibit inappropriate behavior, for example, harassment of others, threats directed at others, or damage company property. Show use of illicit substances or distribution of those substances. Your membership will immediately be canceled or suspended until further investigation. We may also notify the authorities of this behavior and provide them with any information they may need. If your conduct causes us or others personal loss, you agree to pay for losses or damages. You must comply with any direction given to you by staff or instructors related to health and safety. 

• PRIVATE PERSONAL TRAINING:

No private training outside of in house training staff or designated private training areas. External trainers/businesses must obtain written permission from gym management before engaging in private training or commercial business activity. 

• EQUIPMENT:

Please put equipment back in its designated area after disinfecting with a provided kit. You promise to take care of our space and its equipment. Please ask an instructor or staff member for assistance if you are unsure how to operate equipment properly. Chalk is allowed, just please clean up after yourself. Small transparent bags with personal gym accessories may be brought in for use by members, however we don’t guarantee you or your equipment safety. We reserve the right to ask you to remove any personal belongings from the gym floor at any time for any reason.
